For as long as I can remember, I knew I wanted to be a psychologist. I always had a drive to help people and was curious about human behavior. Through my journey in undergrad, I only became even more interested in the field of psychology due to psych classes and hands-on experience at a psychotherapy office and crisis hotline off campus.

What made you choose 芒果77福利?

To be honest, I had never heard of Midwestern until I took the effort to research schools in Arizona, since some of my family lives there. I applied to many schools with no clear idea of where I wanted to go, but then once I interviewed at Midwestern, I knew it was where I had to attend. I fell in love with the school鈥檚 atmosphere and the energy it had. It was honestly one of my most challenging and memorable interview experiences, and it gave me the ability to meet a lot of the faculty and get a sense of the true environment there. I am very much looking forward to making new connections with my cohort and with other healthcare professional students at Midwestern, learning more about psychology, and jumping into field experience.

What are you most excited about going forward?

Going forward I am most excited to meet my cohort because I know we all have the similar interest in psychology and wanting to help others. I love meeting new people and making new connections. It鈥檚 also exciting to know that we will all be super interested in what we learn about which will lead to a lot more class discussion compared to undergrad classes. I also love the state of Arizona. The atmosphere in Arizona brings me so much more happiness than any state I have visited or lived in before. From my impression of Arizona, I feel as though many people that live there strive to live a happy and healthy life; mentally and physically. I have high hopes for what the experience at 芒果77福利 in Glendale is going to be like. I understand that graduate school is going to take a lot of hard work and grit, though I believe living in a healthy atmosphere like Arizona will make the process a tad less stressful. I am ready to face challenges, make a better life for myself and for those around me.
