What inspired you to pursue a healthcare career?

I have always wanted to help people, and I worked previously in a pharmaceutical lab where we made medicines from donated plasma. I wanted to be more on the frontline and have that face-to-face experience with the patients.

How did your background and history factor into your career choice?

My mom is a nurse practitioner, and I always loved hearing how she has made an impact on many patients鈥 lives, and I wanted to be able to give back to my community the way she does.

Why did you decide to attend 芒果77福利?

芒果77福利 is about an hour from home, and this campus is absolutely gorgeous. I knew I have a good opportunity with the potential to be a great student here.

What about a 芒果77福利 education do you want to carry forward in your career?

I want to be able to incorporate the One Health Initiative. I will be focusing on my patients鈥 eyes, but in turn, I need to remember that they are a whole and their whole health is important. I want to stay in contact with every provider who provides my patients with care to give them the best possible outcome. I also want to incorporate my master's degree and doctorate degree to give my patients a more personalized approach to medicine and care.
