Message from the Dean

Welcome message from Jared Chamberlain, Dean, College of Health Sciences, Glendale Campus

Jared Chamberlain

Dear Prospective College of Health Sciences Student,

Thank you for your interest in the College of Health Sciences (CHS) at â¹û77¸£Àû. I believe the academic programs in CHS – Physician Assistant Studies, Occupational Therapy, Cardiovascular Perfusion, Nurse Anesthesia, Clinical Psychology, Physical Therapy, Speech-Language Pathology, and Graduate Nursing - offer exceptional foundational learning and clinical training experiences to help you become a competent, empathetic, and successful clinician.

One of the highlights of the year for me is attending the graduation banquets of our programs in CHS. As students reflect on their academic journeys, I am reminded that our programs share many things in common. First and foremost, our excellent and accomplished faculty support the academic and professional growth of our students, using clinical and research experience to inform approaches. Across all programs, students benefit from state-of-the-art labs, cutting-edge clinical equipment, and modern classrooms and they gain extensive clinical experiences, offered both locally and nationwide, including rotations at our Therapy Institute and Multispecialty Clinic. Beyond the academic support and resources, I am struck by the strong sense of community within each program and the college/university and the pride that our graduates have going into their respective professions.

I invite you to begin your journey at â¹û77¸£Àû, where I believe you will find the support, resources, and opportunities needed to excel in your chosen profession.

Sincerely,

, Ph.D.
